MISC. SIX
I waited all summer for my hibiscus plant to bloom and finally it did! Next year I’m going to make sure I plant more flowers. I should start this fall by planting some bulbs, which I say I’m going to do every year but never do.
Today is the official start of fall. My mind seems to be preoccupied these days with thoughts of making fall-appropriate clothing and getting mentally prepared for holiday gift making. Is it too soon?

What an inspiring list of things to dream about and such beautiful photos. And yes – I have also started to ponder holiday gifting – last year’s trend was ties and snap coin purses – what will this year bring?
Oh, that zipper skirt is too cute. I’m wearing a skirt with a zipper at the moment, but it’s not nearly as cute! Makes me wish I were better at drafting patterns (although maybe it’s not so hard to make a skirt…). Love these lists!

Hibiscus always reminds me of Barbados. Both my Auntys and my Granny use it as hedges, if you can believe it! Gorgeous deep shiny green “fences” with huge pops of colour everywhere. A good description of Barbados itself really.
Also: bunny=super cute.
Finally: pompoms=flowers!
