STYLISH DRESS BOOK 3
Stylish Dress Book 3
ISBN 9784579112852
I’m just back from a lovely long weekend in New York City with Andrew. It was like summer there, which was such a wonderful surprise. I have not even had a chance to download the photos from my trip. As soon as I do, I’ll be sharing them with with you.
In the meantime, I wanted to post photos of one of the most recent books I received. They have come out with volume 3 in the Stylish Dress Book series. I haven’t had a chance to fully examine every detail, but top ‘Y’ will be my first project for sure.

Ah, will they ever stop with the sweetness?!
I just got my copy too (encouraged by all your fabulous posts & projects from these books!) I have my eye on ‘Y’ as well… very cute. Now I just need to figure out the instructions! 🙂
This book looks promising.
I can’t wait to see what you are going to make!
wow. this book has some really great patterns in it!!
Very nice. Dress ‘G’ looks like it might work for curvy bodies too (my main complaint about Japanese patterns).
carmen – i know. i love buying these books just to have something pretty to look at.
ashley – yeah! good luck. just start with something simple, so you can figure out all the ins and outs
sylvie – i have such a long list of projects right now, but i’m going to try one very soon
britt – the styles are a bit different than the last two books. more button downs and ruffles, which is exciting
michelle – the patterns do require some customization no matter what your body type. i like the tied sleeve on ‘G’.
Hi Karyn,
Where can I purchase Stylish Dress Book 3?
I’m taking your Japanese Dress Book class in April, and would like to try a project from this book… Thanks!
adrienne – very exciting! i buy all my books from pomadour on etsy. she has a large selection and great service.
Hi, as I am just starting off dressmaking I’d be interested in knowing how easy the instructions are to follow. Another beginners question too – are the books in Japanese only?
I just discovered these wonderful books and can’t wait to make something. I’m sure that I need to enlarge the patterns as I’m a US size 12-14. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to do this?
Thanks….beautiful dresses on your posts
