March 27, 2010 of 365 : blank egg ready for pysanky
Hello! I’m going to try to catch up with my posting this week. I have a huge backlog of things to share with you!
We hosted three Pysanky workshops before Easter and everyone had so much fun. We had people of all ages learning the Ukrainian tradition of decorating eggs. The results were very inspiring and I think we’ve just started a new yearly workroom tradition. Read an interview with our instructor, Andrei Gravelle, on Toronto Craft Alert.

We use pysanky tools every year, though hardly ever do the traditional designs. This year I figured out a great way to finish off the holes for hanging… eyelets.
